ABOUT

Hi, I'm Meredith Rund. After practicing law in a variety of contexts for nearly two decades, I founded MJR Law, LLC in 2019 to deliver smart, practical and cost-effective workplace solutions for employers. My practice focuses on legal/HR consulting, workplace investigations and training.

I've worked as a federal judicial law clerk, an employment defense litigator in large law firms, an assistant general counsel for an academic medical center and most recently, as the Human Resources Director for a large metropolitan police department. Fun fact: prior to law school, I spent six years working as a police officer/detective for the same police department.

Consequently, I bring a unique mix of legal experience and know-how as well as in-the-trenches, boots-on-the-ground, day-to-day HR expertise to assist you with navigating nearly all your workplace issues. Equipping employers with preventative strategies and practices designed to create high-performing and functional work environments as well as to avoid and limit liability is mjr law's mission.

In sum, I understand the complex challenges that exist in the workplace. Let me assist you with yours.
